Tower 28 BeachPlease cream balm in Golden Hour and After Hours.
objective of this review
I have a combination skin type, I am fortunate not to have had any major facial skin issues except for dry spots and a few texture problems, and I am grateful for that. But however minuscule those issues may seem to others, they still affect the preferred outcome of my makeup and skin on bad days. As the weather gets drier, I’ve opted to go for a dewy look more often than not to combat it. That means adding heavier moisturizers and more creams to my routine. The goal is to achieve glowing skin in the fall and winter months, so I decided to review the Tower 28 BeachPlease Luminous Tinted Cream Blushes.

My thoughts
After purchasing these blushes, the first thing that caught my attention was the packaging. They arrived in a see-through compact made from PCR (recycled plastic). I found that the packaging flowed easily with the brand image- minimalistic yet functional and visually appealing. Currently priced at $20 for 4.5g, you are paying for the product, not the packaging.
I love cream blushes, though that doesn’t mean I’ll be giving up my powder blushes anytime soon. They live in harmonic bliss over here. For the sake of giving an authentic wear test and review of The Tower 28 Cream Balm, no powder blushes were worn.
Here I applied After Hours- a very berry/mauve shade, on one cheek
“I love cream blushes though that doesn’t mean I’ll be giving up my powder blushes anytime soon. They live in harmonic bliss over here”.
To apply, I dabbed the blush using my fingers onto the apples of my cheeks and upward along my cheekbones. Tower 28 cream blushes are very forgiving when applied. It blends flawlessly into the skin. The formula was sheer yet pigmented, very creamy, lightweight and smooth to the touch. While Tower 28 Beauty encourages using your fingers to apply the BeachPLease tinted balm, I would recommend using a brush or a sponge if applying over foundation and concealers to minimize the shifting and movement of product beneath. I only use my fingers to apply blush directly to the skin for a naturally flushed look.
pros
I love they way this balm looks and feels on my skin, it blends very well and has a radiant dewy finish.
These ‘clean beauty’ cream blushes are surprisingly long-lasting. After wearing it for 8hrs without touch-ups, it only noticeably started to fade around the 6hr mark. For that alone, I would give it an A+ review.
cons
The only con I found about this product is that it smudges unless set with a powder or setting spray. And that is understandable, considering how creamy these Tower 28 BeachPlease balms are.
